Reception of Proposals - General Rules


There will be a call for proposals for speakers, concert artists and luthiers.

Modalities of participation through application and registration are:

Concerts. Present detailed program of up to 30 minutes (bis included). Sending mp3  
audio of 1 work included in the program, no more than 8 minutes long (youtube link can  
be sent). Technical needs (table, chairs, lecterns, sound system, piano, pianist).  
Acceptance of sharing the stage with other colleagues. EXPLICIT ACCEPTANCE OF  
ACTING WITHOUT REMUNERATION. Name of the artist or person in charge of the  
group / group, institutional linkage if he is a member of a university or institution,  
profession, postal and electronic address and Brief Curriculum OF NO MORE THAN  
200 WORDS. Note: The CV is that of the artist (soloist or group to be registered.) Send  
as an attached document in the .doc file, Times New Roman of 12 points, artistic  
photo with an instrument in high definition, to the following electronic address:  
info@universax.org. Complete and attach the registration form.


Lectures: Summary of the topic. Goals. Title and summary of the paper explaining the  
subject, objectives and focus. NO MORE THAN 300 WORDS OF EXTENSION, more  
bibliography if any and technical needs (clarify the language used: English - Spanish -  
Portuguese). Consider that, if the summary is accepted, each presentation will last 20  
minutes. Curriculum vitae, name of the author, institutional link, profession, postal and  
electronic address and brief CV OF NO MORE THAN 200 WORDS and artistic photo  
with high definition instrument.

The papers must be related to one or more of the following topics on the world of  
saxophone: A) On historical aspects, B) Analytical aspects, C) Educational  
aspects, D) Stylistic aspects or E) Technical aspect - interpretative, F) Aspects  
constructive or G) Psychological, neurological and / or corporal aspects. The  
different aspects can be related to works, composers, performers, luthiers, among  
other possible topics. Send as an attached document in .doc file Times New Roman

and attach registration form.


Exhibition of instruments - mouthpieces - accessories: Detail of instruments to  
exhibit (include). Antecedents in the activity and clarify if it belongs to any brand, society  
of artisans or luthiers. NO MORE THAN 300 WORDS OF EXTENSION, plus 2  
photographs of the luthier with his instruments. Technical requirements. Name of the  
exhibitor, institutional link, profession, postal and electronic address and Brief CV OF  
NO MORE THAN 200 WORDS. Send as an attached document in .doc file Times New  
Roman of 12 points, to the following electronic addresses: info@universax.org.  
Complete and attach registration form.


Note. Due to the duration of the festival, a selection will be made about the applications  
received. Such nominations will be analyzed by the Academic Committee elected for  
that purpose. Likewise, due to the spatial limitation, all activities will have a quota of  
participating proposals, which will be covered by order of registration exclusively. The  
selection of original proposals that have not taken place before will be encouraged.


General information on the selection of proposals.


·  Each participant selected by his proposal will have official invitations to obtain  
financial aid in institutions of his country, tending to solve his expenses of passages  
and stay.


· Those selected must send via e-mail artistic photograph and signed (scanned)  
acceptance of their participation in the Meeting. The text will be provided by the festival  
and will include the acceptance of publishing your name, photo and background in the  
festival's advertising tools (website, poster, newspaper, television, etc.).


· As a general rule the meeting will not pay for cachet, air or land tickets or stay to any  
selected participant through applications.


· It is our interest to generate an environment of brotherhood, camaraderie and  
respect, so during the meeting each artist will actively participate in the rest of activities  
as a colleague. These activities will be framed within the following events: concerts,  
master classes, lectures, exhibition of instruments, presentation of books classes or  
conferences, workshops and debates about the present of the world in different  
aspects (cultural, social, ecological, psychological, humanitarian, among other  
possible).

· The meeting, through its website, will offer detailed information about hotels and  
hostels in order for the participant to make their reservations.


· The meeting will provide translators for the activities that require it.


· Each participant will be able to exhibit and sell their cds and books in a space.


· The meeting concerts will be recorded and this record can be used to promote the  
festival.


· Instrument display exhibitors will not pay% for their instrument sales.


· Accompanying persons of speakers, concert players or luthiers must pay  
accreditation of half general value. (Ask for information)


· The meeting will prioritize novel proposals, encouraging in this way the non-repetition  
of the same or similar proposals each year.

Note: Exhibitors may send the payment once notified of their acceptance and / or

Due to the spatial limitation, all the activities will have a quota of hearing and  
public participants, which will be covered by order of registration exclusively.


NOTE: Each year the meeting's organizing committee will especially invite renowned  
teachers as references of their region, to offer master classes and concerts about their  
specialty. These invitations will be limited in quantity and will not be accessible through  
applications or registrations.

General Public may attend the concerts whose information will be informed and  
publicized in advance.
